I've loved this Eric Bogle tune and Erics' recorded performance of it especially... for a long time... learned of the tune here on the BHO...

This is not exactly a transcription, but it is the melody as Eric sang it, accompanied and harmonized by the banjo, bass and keyboard (I was hoping for a French-tuned accordion or concertina effect behind the chorus)...

I've got about 16 hours in it...

BTW: It's in 2 parts because of the length... Tabledit will only allow 255 words to be saved in the Text Manager... the first 3 verses took me up to 251... I had to stop there or leave the rest of the lyrics out... So, there is a Part TWO that picks up where Part ONE leaves off...
