I'm fairly new to BHO so I apologize if this is the wrong forum, but reading thru the posts there seem to be a lot of very knowledgeable people posting here...
I have a Washburn banjo that has "Mystic DL" printed on the neck and looks virtually identical to this one: http://banjostore.fingerstyle.com.au/archive/washburn_b23_mystic.html.
I'd like to understand some of the basics about it: overall quality, approximate value (it's in very good condition), type of tone ring used (and whether an upgrade is doable / worthwhile), etc.
The label inside of the resonator says: George Washburn, Model: B23 Serial #: 83357, Hand crafted in the Washburn tradition of Chicago. It is signed by: (best I can tell) K. Nakashima.
Thanks,
-Gerald
