Tuning 5-string as 19 fret tenor

I want to practice some tenor playing for irish tunes but only have my 5-string.  What is the best tuning to use with the standard strings for a 5-string to simulate tuning in fifths.  Also, where should I capo to get a feel for the scale length of a 19 fret banjo.  I' m not worried about standard tuning, just to have the strings play well in fifths with good tension.
