I've never seen a 5-string Stewart banjo from this later period. Granted the neck is a 1980 reproduction but it does exhibit the familiar mother of pearl inlay pattern for a high end Stewart. This banjo is for sale on e-Bay, with in my opinion an unrealistically high value of $1200. I suppose the head might have been from a 4-string Stewart and the seller was desperate for a 5-string. What do you think?
