I really wanted to go pick her up today and have her at home when Deb got home from work, but I'm covered up at work and I can't get away early. Deb called to check on her and all the techs and personnel at the animal hospital are just in love with her. They say, "She's such a good girl, and she's so cute." She's doing well and resting comfortably so I think I'll go ahead and leave her one more night. 
The surgeon was able to close up her surgery so well that she doesn't have sutures or staples or anything on the outside. The animal hospital said she's not messing with her surgical site at all, so she may not have to wear the cone of shame. At least the good thing about leaving her there....they can give her the good stuff for pain.
