well. i just pulled the trigger on the fhb 250 from instrument alley. The reason for getting this banjo is because my neck hurts on occasion so I convinced myself I needed it...BAS is a disease! Im sure it will have some sort of minor defects but it seems to be a pretty plain lookin jo to start with. It is a rebadged rk-50 mastertone style but no tonering which arent made any more by Recording King .....for 450.00 shipped including hsc Amazon sells it for 780.00 so I consider it a steal of a deal!
