BBQ Shrimp
5 Slices Bacon
½ pound butter
2 tsp Dijon mustard
¼ tsp basil
¼ tsp thyme
1 tsp pepper
3 cloves garlic, crushed
6 tablespoons crab boil
5 tablespoons hot sauce (Louisiana hot sauce)
3 pounds shell shrimp, back sliced open and deveined
In iron skillet, fry bacon, remove and chop or break into small pieces.
Add all other ingredients except shrimp to skillet and simmer for a few
minutes
Place shrimp in shallow backing dish
Pour sauce and bacon bits over and stir
Bake at 375 degrees stirring three to four times while baking
Do Not Overcook
Serve hot with hot french bread to dip in sauce.
This is very spicy but as good as I have had.
