Dating my TB-1 Conversion

I have a OPF TB-1 conversion I bought about 18 months ago from a fellow Hangout member outside of Nashville. He bought the banjo in 2002 from  Curtis McPeake who I believe converted the original tenor into a flathead with a Frank Neat neck and a McPeake tone ring. I have since put in a Hatfield undrilled ring and it is some kind of good banjo.

The serial number is 9464-88 and at banjophiles that puts the banjo in 1929.

So the confusion is that when I bought it, it was advertised as a 1932 and then after doing a little homework on Ron Stewart's old monster TB-1, I think his was a 1933. But.......I think our banjos may be related litter mates since his TB-1 serial number was 9464-59. 29 spots before mine.......again putting in 1929 from banjophiles.

Not that it is too big a deal. I get compliments on the banjo all of the time (not the pickin'....ha!) and just want to be accurate when describing how old the banjo is and its history.

Thanks!
