Its a 35 year old Yamaha FG230. Yah...I know this is a banjo site but there are a lot of smart people here who know this stuff. Its hardly been used. It wasn't an expensive guitar to begin with. The neck seems angled out a little too much from the body. The string height is almost 1/4 inch high at the 12th fret. I think 1/8 inch is an ideal height, but I'm no expert. Is this fixable? I've tightened the truss rod as tight it will go without breaking something, although it isn't back bowed. I would take it to a shop but I'm wondering mostly if there is any market for 12 string guitars. I don't want to spend money if I won't get it back when I sell it.
