BodyWorlds is in town and I can't run to the store without passing a billboard advertisement. I have, in my life, studied anatomy, worked on human cadavers, spent a summer self-teaching forensic science, proclaimed myself a "Bones" fan, and been a champion of freedom of expression. I draw the line on BodyWorlds. It bothers me on every level I can think of. It is the sole reason I am no longer an organ donor. But what bothers me the most is, when people I have known for ten, twenty, fhirty years, who have zero interest in science, the human body, the human condition, etc, will say to me, "Oh! I want to go, I hear it's so educational!" I want to rip out my hair and scream, "Liar!" I hate being lied to! That is not why you want to go, so don't try and con me.
You got your pick on this one. You can post about BodyWorld (grrrr) or being lied to (grrrr.) Or, you could start a new post about jokes so I won't spend the day being crabby!
