I looked at Yew Pine Mountains in Ken Pearlmans (everything you wanted to know...)
He's demonstrating 5th string drones on the same beat as hammer ons and pull offs. You don't see that much in tabs, but, I hear you good players do it.
It was impossible at first try! a little work and I'll get it.
The tuning for the song is g,g,d,g,d. Those middle strings are tuned low. I have a 12" Enoch Dobson I think would sound great in that tuning.
any suggestions for string gauges?
