OK, before this game is settled, I'll say that this shouldn't even be the Championship Game.
Here's why:
1) LSU already beat them this year.
2) Alabama didn't even win their conference championship.
3) Alabama didn't even play for their conference championship.
Yet, here we are!
Now, keep in mind...I am a SEC guy (go Gators), but this isn't really a National Championship game. It is a rematch of a SEC slugfest.
I'll check the score in the morning, but I'd love to see a real number one verses a real number two in a championship game. LSU is the real number one, Alabama isn't really the number two team out there. Oklahoma State, Stanford or even Oregon have a real argument about it.
Anyway, it is what it is. But I'd be watching Oklahoma State against LSU...now, that would be great game.
