I got my first Nordic Track ski machine in 1979. It was shot by the early 90's and when one of the ski clutches went out, and I couldn't find parts, I retired it and got a 1992 model. Last week, one of the ski clutch bearings went out. I googled it, and found the parts I needed! She's back to running like new :)
Of all the stuff I've done in my adult life, riding my ski machine for 30 minutes every morning has remained one of the only constants. I originally got one for cross training in my running days. Then used it for recovery after injuries. And have used it for general health since. In the last 30 years, the day's I've missed could probably be counted on my hands. I love the darn thing. Over the years I've ran marathons, triathlons, raced bikes, and had access to the best and latest fitness equipment in the military gyms... and to this day, have never found a work-out as good or efficient.
