The daughter came for the day, and we all went shopping for girl stuff at Walmart..and patterns and fabric.
We were in the lotions and what section, and I heard one of the deepest, most beautiful voices coming from the end of the isle. I stopped to hear....saw the source of the voice. "You have the most beautiful voice" I said to the Stranger. He immediately stopped to talk and visit. "Thank you" he said, and we were instant friends. I asked if he was a radio announcer or DJ...no, retired very early from nuclear field. Built his own house up on the mountain boonies. Told me stuff about himself. Interesting. He was a photo of a Cal. surfer...long thick blond hair styled beautifully, a Greek-God-chisled profile, and built super fantastic...and dressed well. Fun to look at AND listen to his voice.
He saw my daughter, and I introduced them. Yes. I gave him her phone number marked down on my pad cause he wanted to call her and maybe go out for coffee at a public place in daylight. He wanted to get to know her! He immediately gave her his phone number.
Okay. Mama instinct: "You are not a serial killer or rapist, are you? I asked. (Wanted to be safe). He laughed real loud, and offered to produce his wallet to show me, and reached for it.
He invited me along. I declined, knowing she carries a gun. She will be safe. Don't need me. I told them to go on without me. He will call her he said. He mentioned they could meet at my house...I declined...He mentioned he didn't like spicy food. Naturally, being me, I said that I was off to purchase hot peppers cause....(they agreed to meet at Dairy Queen)
Okay, we stood and visited and found out stuff about each other, and it was so much fun just visiting. He has a terrific sense of humor! Yep. This was a special Stranger. I hope they get on real well.
I enjoyed the heck out of visiting with this Handsome Stranger...and was into matchmaking big time. Hope it works out.
Daughter is taken with Handsome Stranger. Good. Cause she is lousy at picking men.
