I have just bought an ornate and extremely unusual 1890s(I think) Wasburn that doesnt comply with any of the information in Hubert Pleijsiers book.
Who out there is the acknowledged "expert' on these? Paricularily the 442 with the compensating wood shell.
Hope somebody has this arcane info locked in their vast memory.
