Hello guys, first post on the Hangout Forum..
Im Luque, im from Brazil and im buying a Goodtime 2 next week, yep!
So, i have read the comments about the lack of a trussrod in the GT necks (http://www.banjohangout.org/archive/122405) , and this scars me a bit
Im not trying to start that discussion again...
My first concern is about the traveling and the difference of climates between there and here!
The second concern is that i was wondering of buying a banjo to play with medium/heavy gauge (actually i was thinking on improvise with other strings of the same gauge, like guitar strings, because there is no place to buy banjo strings here)
And, ill not buy it personally, the banjo will come on a plane, and this is the only opportunity ill have to buy this, so this must be done only one time right!
So what do you guys say?
