I've got a 14inch cello pot that's been sitting around for a rainy day.
I'm curious about making the neck fretless but I've never actually played a fretless let alone seen one in real life... Anything "openback" is a scarcity in my pocket of the world.
In terms of length, I'll more than likely keep it short scale at 24' 3/4".
What do people think? My instincts say YAY but as mentioned, I have nothing to back that up.
One other thing... While side dots are normally centered between frets on a fretted instrument, what about fretless? Should they align where the frets would normally be? I'm no ace, I'm gonna need em.
