Bargin hunting

The other day I stopped at a charity second hand store. First time in there, but won't be the last! I found bargins!

Got jar candles that are costly at the gift shops...but these were 25 cents each. Yep.

Got really nice pillows...the colors I wanted like new ...25cents (for the front porch swing, the new breakfast nook on the deck.) The dogs got one of those filled with something real squishy...seeds of some kind. They love it.

Canned veggies ....20cents a can...got mostly tomatoes.

Handmade bird house...rather large $2.oo.

Handmade wooden old fashion train engine on tracks..(made on bottom of engine)   $2.oo (for flower beds)

I did good. Pleased with these things

At the antique shop: A black blouse with all manner of gold inlays and gold embroidery..(1950 made) $5.oo. Beautiful...esquisit for long skirts that I wear and boots.

I save anytime I can. I shop bargins.

Yeah...I am pretty frugal, but picky. I have to have a use for things to bring them home, and they need to be perfect.

This is great for the economy to shop the charity stores. Help people. Get really nice things, too.

Nancy

We have very little here for economy...things just went south...so, I shop charity stores when I can.
