force you to do as a side affect?
The Xanax I'm taking is a very minimal dose 0.5 MG. it definitely helps with my anxiety and my tremors but it makes me sleepy. If i can get passed a certain point by partially napping while setting up then I can have a pretty normal day or night, [my nights are days]. If I don't fight this I sleep too much or maybe too often. It works quite fast within an hour after I take it I get this real drowsy spell, if I can get by that I'm good to go for the rest of the night usually. This is where I am right now, just got passed that part. But I have to do that every day and also have to sort of force myself to get up after a 4 or 5 hour sleep.
Do you think it is harmful to fight this? [ i know there are folks on here with medical knowledge and am not asking for a diagnosis just an opinion],,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,, I don't like to just give in to meds that help me for one or two things and are a pain in the butt about other things. The doc told me I would get hooked on this med but she said it is worth the good it does for the problem I have and i agree with this. Life can be almost unbearable without the help of meds for me anyway. I know many folks don't like to take any but for me it's been a necessary evil ya might say. I take a lot of them and if I run short on any I know it shortly. She said they can bring me down slowly off it if they find another one that they think will work better later, especially because I'm taking such a small dose.
It sometimes hurts me to think what some folks go through with drugs and on the other hand how they help me at least and make life livable. Just wondered if any others fight the side affects?
