Hi folks! I am selling a "neck" only that I pulled off of a late 20's style one Gibson banjo. This neck is a reproduction five-string made by Arthur Hatfield. The original owner drilled the peghead for a set of cam d-tuners (that are not included). The neck wood is mahogany, rosewood fingerboard. Peghead and fingerboard is done in Hearts and Flowers inlay with "MASTERTONE" block at 21rst fret. The neck is just over two years old with very minimal fret wear. The neck is stained in the dark colors of the late 20's Gibsons, and has had the finish removed for a speed neck (it has been coated with Johnson's wax only!). Railroad spikes at 7,8,9,10. No cracks, dings, or repairs! There is some finish flaking on the back of the peghead where the cam tuner may have been tightened too tight, but not damage to the wood. Truss rod included (black), and the lag bolts will also be in the heel. This neck is fast, traditional width, and slim profile with two-way truss rod...it's a great neck, I'm having Arthur make me a radiused neck to match my other banjo. This will be a great playing neck for a lucky picker!!!
Pics aren't the greatest...taken at night in my garage, so if you want better pics just ask! CONTINENTAL USA SALES ONLY!!! NO RETURNS, CHECK MY RATING AT SALES ON THE BHO!!!
