My wife and I have decided, for various reasons, to sell our entire CD collection, somewhere in the area of 600 CDs, and now that the decision has been made, we are stumped as to how to go about doing this. It would be much easier to sell the collection as a whole, but I imagine we could get more if we tried to really analyze and research what we have....what might be rare, out of print, etc...but who has time for that? I am thinking of taking the whole lot into one of the local used cd places, and see what they offer, but I know it's going to be painful! I looked at some ads on eBay, and while that might be an option, I have never sold anything on there, and I am a bit intimidated about the whole process. Looking for any advice I can get. Has anyone on here ever sold your collection? How did you go about it? What can or should I expect money wise. I know the collection means more to me, for obvious reasons, but dang....there is some good stuff in there! Thanks in advance for any advice!
