Bela Fleck and (my friend) from my days in Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn; Marcus Roberts burned new notes for two and a half hours
at the historic Flynn Theater in Burlington, Vermont - as the main line openers for the "2012 Discover Jazz Festival".
New CD "Across the Imaginary Divide" was autographed by Marcus, Bela, Rodney Jordan and Jason Marsalis after the show and old times were remembered.
(Lawrence Northington (Bashir Mohamed), Jeff Watts, Win-tane and Bran's) ears may have been burning as we were remembering the days of "tane" and "skein".

Bela and Marcus were playing remarkably well last night both burning things down at times. Rodney and Jason were equally on.
