Bluegrass sound to standard notation music.

Hello Everyone.  Can anyone out there give me some advice or tell me a standard way to convert a song, just the basic melody  iiiiin standard notation, and put it to bluegrass style music?  I have several songs I'd like to play bluegrass style but all I can find in music is the simple melody notes.  I would especially like to play them in the key of D.  I'd appreciate any help.  Thank you.
