I've noticed a lot of clawhammer banjos have the arm rest removed, if they had them at all.
Is there a reason for this? I'm a noob so if this is a stupid question, go ahead and make fun of me, but please answer!
Is it because the arm isn't supposed to be touching the banjo as you frail?
