Are there any preamps available that would have a built-in volume boost button or pedal? I've been using this box that comes with the gold tone ABS, and it is really more of a volume boost only. When turned off, it's just a pass through. Usually it's adequate, but sometimes I can't quite get enough juice in the "off" setting.
I know some folks just use two or three different pedals, but I'd rather keep the cords to a minimum if possible.
