Adam "MCA" Yauch loses his fight with cancer at age 47. Adam was one of the three founding members of the Beastie Boys. These guys are, among others, at the pinnacle of hip-hop/rap in my opinion.
I am sure there are a few folks here on the BHO who have listened to and loved the Beastie Boys.
