That storm last evening came in over the mountains. Rain and thunder and lightening. Town lost power. Just shut down around here.
I have candles and hurricane lamps so lit those. Flashlights also, but didn't use them. Sat out candles so we could get about. No tv..no power. I figured it was okay. I could cook outside if it lasted and I had to make do.
Probably lines down somewhere due to winds.
We managed fine. Not the first time this has happened. Whole town down without power.
Nice when it got back on. You get so use to having electricity that it is strange not to have any.
