new bridge new string hight?

so today i received my new bridge its 14mm my old bridge is 12mm the reason i got the new bridge was because the string spacing is bigger.
but now my string are to high at the 12 fret so could i sand the bridge feet down 2mm or would it be better to play around with the neck?
im not to sure what im doing

Any advice would be much appreciated.
