[CT] = computer tinkering,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Just been tinkering, I bought a couple of converter connectors on line for a few bucks.
I had a 500gb Sata Western digital HD and one little gold pin broke off the data connection.
So till I find a little printed circuit board for the 500 Western digital HD, and I'm not even sure i can or change one if I did, I'm using one of these Sata to IDE connectors for a 100gb IDE HD. They work well, IDE to Sata also.
I have another one so I can now maybe put Ubunta on another IDE drive. I have enough cables to hook up another one but not sure how or if possible to run two HD and make it so I can boot from either one with the sata MB. I can partition dual boot systems on the old IDE drive but am not sure about running two windo systems from the same mother board?
Maybe I'll just partition on of the old IDE and use them one at a time.
