Looking for some input. I am considering getting (yes) another banjo. I am looking for something light weight, quality. No tone ring. I already have 2 with full tone rings, 2 with tone hoops. Having played intermediate banjos, I cannot go back to cheap starter banjos. I will primarily use it for sitting on the porch, outside by the fire and when my back is bothering me. My primary reason for another purchase is weight, but I want decent quality. The only banjo that seems to fit this criteria in the RK-25. I also like the full flange on the 25. Is the RK-25 fairly light? I've researched and found different weights listed. I dont have an RK yet, so that is another incentive
Ive watched all the videos that I can find and so far like the sound. There are NO RK dealers in my area, so test driving one is a no go.
Thanks for all advice
