What an adventure! To the dump to take off about 300 pounds or more of yard debris.
People are just plain nuts or wasteful beyond belief. We 'shopped' at the dump. Honest. Found treasures you would never believe. Turn of the century antiques, and a fancy like new computer desk with a black plate glass top.(perfect shape), and all kinds of stuff for the yard. The trip cost? All total, $7.50. Daughter taking some of the valuable stuff to auction. Worth bucks!
Interesting. The stuff is dusty, but in fine shape. Bids will be good. Antique shop owners will eat their hearts out!!!
My yard is coming together in a good way. Bear country! Place to be. Just to be. Most interesting. Not finished, but a great start on becoming the quiet, interesting place that takes one back in time. Everywhere you gaze, it's interesting. I am having a ball with this project.
How come I am not out there? Need to place a life sized cut out of a deer (I cut it of plywood..painted black) on the fence. I broke his antlers, so have to fix that yet.
Just a few degrees above freezing, but will warm later to get going. Breakfast done, dogs fed, and ready. Just waiting till temps pick up some to work. Yeah. Shovel work.
Working on an alcove out back to beautify this area. Must remove stuff to get that done.
Putting ribs and other meats in freezer to use time as yet. I also am planning a super lunch...a treat for sure.
Wish to get going soon...and will do that. Anxious to get started.
Just stopped at computer before next thing I need to do in here in the cabin.
