I'm stuck here. I'm making a banjo from maple trimmed in purpleheart based on an art deco theme. I've nearly completed the inlay of Josephene Baker doing her notorius "Banana Dance" around the tuning machines (final sanding and graving yet to be done). She is in two tones of MOP, abalone and pearloid on an ebony background
Now comes the fingerboard. When one thinks of flappers, roaring 20's, art deco architecture, what images does one think of that would fit between the frets?
Go crazy! Thanks!
