I have a 2004 Maple Blossom and a few years ago the strap failed and the neck hit the ground and snapped the head stock. I had the head stock glued back on and the banjo plays pretty well, probably never play quite the same, but still sounds good. Lately I've been thinking of selling this banjo. What should I expect to get get for it? I paid 2500, is asking 950 asking too much or too little. My luthier said due to the coating on the neck it would cost roughly 250-300 extra bucks to make the break smooth like it never happened so you could barely notice the work. Due to the fact that he would have to sand the neck down and refinish. What do you guys think? I can post some pics if anyone is interested. I am better off just keeping this banjo?
