Hey friends!
I looked all over, and couldn't find any advice about this!
A couple of my young friends are getting hitched, and they're both talented OT (and just about everything else) musicians who I used to pick with every now and again. She's a ballad singer and he's a terrific fiddler.
I want to get them a nice wedding gift involving OT music, but can't think of what I could get them that wasn't an instrument or instrument accessory. It ought to be under 150$, as I'm just a poor lad. They've pretty much got about as great of instruments as possible (i.e., a 19th century fiddle, Rieter banjo, and so forth). A CD seems not "wedding-ish" enough.
So what would you get the young old-time couple? Fiddle cufflinks/earrings? That was my one idea, and it seems very cheesy.
Thanks for your experience and expertise!
All best,
