First heard this tune Mon. night (4-23-12) when my wife and I had dinner with some good jam friends at the Red Newt Bistro in Hector, NY and heard Richie Stearns and the Evil City String Band play it. Have been obsessed with the tune the past three days, and I recorded myself doing five individual tracks this afternoon (Fiddle, Guitar, Bass, Clawhammer Banjo, and a second Fiddle) and mixed the tracks. No one does it like Richie and Evil City, but I am genuinely proud of my fiddle and double-thumbing banjo on this one.
