Hi all,
I've been looking for a banjo to play at work in the $500 range and came across on old (looks like around 1913 by serial #) conversion. It sounded pretty good when I played it (though I'm not a good player), so I was doing a little research. I snapped these attached photos (wish I would have gotten more) and maybe get some input from those of you in the know. I've narrowed my selection down to three (clancy Mullins, a no name, and this Vega). I would like to know a bit more about this Vega, but specific info is scarce. They didn't mention the Style M in 1912 catalog and the serial number (rim and dowel) are in the low 30s so I'm just connecting the dots and assuming it is around 1913. Thanks for input! Hog.
