I got a question if I can do something. The frets on my banjo do not go all the way across the fretboard. They slant in about a 1/16 of an inch. I m changing the nut to accommodate a wider stringspacing which my neck has room for. This is my question: can I fill in or build up the slanted area to make it even with the rest of the fret? Not worried about matching the chrome/stainless. Can I use bone dust and super glue? But would it just fall off as nothing to hold it on really? I just don't want the cost of refretting that will cost more than I paid for the banjo. That 1/16 slant is the only reason I haven't put new nut on yet. Plz advise. Thx in advance, Eddie
