Vega Tenor Banjo 1920's to 30's

My neighbor's church had this donated. Asking $800.
It has a single wood (square) coordinator "rod." Hyde head. Very heavy (weighs about
what my Mastertone weighs!), with the pot seemingly made with wood and
metal, but I can't really see how. It has geared tuners. Nice binding along the
fret ends on the neck. Frets worn about but playable. Sounds pretty good
to my ear.

I know nothing much about vintage banjos. "Vegaphone Professional" is on a
card attached to what looks like the original case.
