Just wanted to share some thoughts/opinions I have concerning my new RK-75 I bought last month. The banjo is super nice with zero construction issues period! I got it for $1425 at banjo.com. Very good dealer by the way. I went in with a pocket full of cash and tried out many makes of banjos fully prepared to spend 3 to 4 thousand on a new one. After sampling many models I picked up a Recording King 75 Elite. WOW is what I said just looking at it holding it. The inlays were beautifully applied and beautiful themselves. The neck was perfect in my hand. Felt just right. Had a great fit. The finish was perfect with no flaws and BEAUTIFUL. Every detail in construction was perfect. The mahogany neck and resonator are stunningly beautiful. Hardware had the feel and appearance of being top quality. Attention to detail was readily apparent. I HAD to pick this one! Gary Sosebee was picking in a room there so I bought his bridge and put it on the 75. A little setup and back to my area. Holy crap! What a banjo! Clear and clean up and down the neck. A powerhouse 5-string! I stopped looking the minute I played it. THIS beats ALL 3 of the American made WELL RESPECTED banjos I have owned. Rich and company did their homework I'll tell you! Sounds wonderful and built like a precision tank. Sounds beautiful and very high quality. This is a keeper that I won't sell. For $1425 it is a downright steal. I mean that. Check one out and I think you will agree. It is the best deal for this much quality on ANY instrument I've EVER purchased. I'm blown away by my whole RK-75 Elite purchase. And at $1425.00? Yes!! Really unbelievable! I'm not kidding!
