I took these pics with the wood under my magnifying lamp to get the finer points of that incredible grain.
This is my new "candy" wood.
It looks like a musical staff drawn by Dali.
The "eyes" are under the ebony and on the bottom of the feet,but the 90 degree face shows the eyes as columns inside the grain.
The more you magnify,the prettier they get.
Excellent,powerful bridge at 2.1 grams with a fairly thin ebony top.
