I had purchased a 1910ish Weymann Keystone about 14 years ago (I like the spunover rim). I never played it much because the old friction pegs wouldn't hold and I had my Goodtime and Ramsey Amish.
This week I had to go to Elkins, WV for work so I grabbed the old girl to take down to Bob Smakula. I got new pegs and he straightened the neck up a bit and boy is she beautiful.
Bob has a great shop and he fixed it in no time. It's nice to know that a great luthier is only 3 hours away. If I decide to turn this into a fretless I know where to go.
