Hello folks,

All of y'all Monroe fans I'm sure will love this. This was featured on RFD-TV a while back on Larry Black's (of Larry's Country Diner) program "Country's Family Reunion". Ronnie McCoury, Rob McCoury, Jason Carter, Charlie Cushman, the late Gene Wooten, & Alan Bartram join Kenny on this one, and fuel the fire so to speak.

Mac Wiseman introduces him on this one, and he plays JR beautifully. Bill definitely would love to hear this.

I hope y'all will enjoy this. This vid also shows some late great singers and performers. John Hartford, Kenny (who passed away sadly last June), and many others who have passed away. Kenny was my favorite fiddler ever, and on tunes like this, he absolutely shines. His "Bluegrass in The Backwoods" is amazing as well.

Here that is if you'd like to hear it: Bluegrass in The Backwoods

Bob Black picked the banjo on the "Frost On The Pumpkin" album with Kenny, and his melodic abilities come out great on this tune. It's a great workout in D minor, and I would recommend some of you to give it a shot. You'll love it, as I have. In my breaks, I think of Kenny and Bill both, and when I play I keep them in my head to give me courage, and maybe in my self-conscious, I can hear Kenny's awesome double stops in these solos.

Thank you all, and enjoy!

~Craig
