I always had excellent vision...
Then I hit 42 and it all started changing...
One day several months ago, I was trimming my beard-moustache-goatee...
As I'm trimming I need my glasses to do it right...
With the glasses on, I notice my eye brows need to be trimmed...
I put the spacer on the trimmer down to zero, which isn't really zero... it's just the right depth to trim eye brows...
I have to take the glasses off to trim the eye brows... it all goes well...
I put the glasses back on, inspect the work... missed a spot, but I'll have to take the spacer guard off in order to finish the eye brow trim...
I study the area between nose and eye brow where I need to take the now unguarded trimmer...
The glasses come back off...
The phone rings...
I stop and go answer the phone...
I'm back to finish the job...
I got distracted, forgot the space guard was off the damned trimmer and see another area of the eyebrow I also missed, but NEED the space guard for...
Z--i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-n-n-n-g!
Off comes half of my eye brow!
Almost all the way down to the skin...
If it isn't the bad eye sight, then it's the telephone and a slipping memory...
Jeez Leweez...
And the lady friend catches a glimpse and has a good laugh at my expense...
