I read about the Ice Worms that live in glaciers. Very interesting. Now look up Air Worms. They live in the ionosphere and are the cause of the stars 'twinkling'. Whenever a worm passes between the light of a star and your line of sight, the star seems to twinkle. It is the same principle that they use to determine if a distant star has planets. The slight lowering of intensity of the star's light when the planet passes in front of it is proof that there is a planet going around it. The Ice Worms live on pollutants that are in the ionosphere. Really. Comments?
