Anyone ever heard of a NGM banjo? NGM was for North Georgia Music Company in Marietta GA. I lived in Marietta from 1969-1980, Mark Bramblet, now with Banjo.com, built banjos for Bill Blaylock and they were sold out of that store. I left Marietta in June of 1980 and I have never seen another NGM banjo.
Don't confuse this Bill Blaylock with the fellow that makes tone rings today in Ohio. All though my Bill also made very good tone rings back in his day, but that was 30 years ago.
Does anyone have one of these banjos under the bed on in the closet? I would love to see photos or talk about a trade. It would bring back memories.
