Bought this SX banjo at Xmas time and being a lefty it was the only brand that I could get that was cheap and available to me at the time although I had to have it freighted from another state. Here I learnt another lesson and that is there is just because someone works for a music store does not mean he is a musician maybe he is just a salesperson because the person I spoke to ensured me it was a quality instrument and that it would arrive all set up. When I got it the neck was loose and everything else was as well. I had just lost my job and did not want to spend more than I did but as I have stated elsewhere on this forum once funds are available I will be getting a Goodtime.
Here are a few pics that shows what you get quality wise. I took the truss rod cover off to have a look just out of interest and had to laugh when I seen how many holes were drilled. The screws holding the brackets on have been 2 to 4 washers and there is a slight crack in the rim where the coordinator rods are.
