To all the Scruggs style pickers out there, one of the best players of the three-finger style, Doug Dillard of the Dillards (and the Darlings on the Andy Griffith Show), is in the ICU at a hospital in Nashville today. According to brother Rodney it looks pretty grim. Just wanted all my banjo friends and family out there to know one of our legends is really struggling tonight. Say a prayer, then pick up your banjo and play Banjo in the Hollow or Doug's Tune a couple times.
