Here's a cut from my upcoming CD. I thought I would never record again because I have been battling focal dystonia for a few years now. I got botox treatment last November and thankfully it has allowed me to play again. I am still not satisfied with my playing but at least I can play again. I recommend anyone that may be suffering from focal dystonia to look into botox treatment. My neurologist is really incredible and I'll be happy to get you in touch with him.
Any way, this new CD is a true father and son project. My daughter unfortunately quit playing the dobro about a year ago so that kind of put an end to our family band. So it's just my son and I on this CD. He is playing mandolin and bass and I am playing the guitar and banjo. This is also the first tune to be recorded on Don Reno's old Stelling Golden Cross in nearly 30 years! I hope you enjoy it.
