I've allways liked bluegrass right from the very first time I heard it on the radio back in the late 60's and it was Earl Scruggs who inspired me to go out and try to learn some. Recently I got broadband so of course I've been seeking out all the old clips and albums I could only read about or get via expensive imports here in New Zealand.
However the last few months whenever I've heard one of the older, faster pieces on you tube, I keep on thinking of Chet Atkins Yakkity axe piece and the Benny Hill chase sequences set to that music on the TV shows of the same name. It don't do much for the music to be rolling around laughing and I don't have the same problems with clawhammer. Anyone else have this problem and, more importantly, any solution???
