Hello folks,
All of my four years now of playing the banjo, I have been on the hunt to get a copy of this must-have record the Bill put out in 1981 or so. I am not interested on buying a copy just yet, but I am dying to get a copy. Maybe I'll find one at the bottom of an old trunk at a rummage sale, but what are the odds of finding it there?
Just if I could find a cassette, or maybe, if they are on ITunes, maybe I can burn them onto CD. Me personally, I love collecting old cassettes rather than CD's, but either will do. The vinyl record is still around sometimes, but I don't have a record player handy.
I used to listen to records at my Grandmother's house, until my younger cousins were fooling around with it one day, tripped over it while fighting with their sibling, and broke the needle.
I really want to have a copy someday, and I've never heard Bill's cut of 'Old Ebeneezer Scrooge" yet, which when Bill plays tunes like that, it sends chills up my spine, as it does with "My Last Days on Earth".
I just wanted to hear some of y'all's input, and if you can tell me your stories of how some of you are touched by this amazing and coveted record.
